After about a month of living here, I finally went with my mom to downtown Denton.
We stopped at Andaman for dinner, which is a really small but quaint Thai restaurant located downtown.
I got their Pad Thai, which was really tasty, slightly sweet but not bad at all.
My mom got the Tom Kha soup, which was not spicy and a bit sour.
My mom also got the Pineapple Fried Rice, which has the tiniest hint of curry in it so it’s not too spicy.
For dessert, my mom got a coconut dessert that looks like a creme brulee
I got mango with sticky rice.
Afterward, we took a walk around Downtown Denton.
The Texas building
The Bank Building. I don’t know if it’s still being used as a bank, but on the side there’s a slot where people used to deposit money when they had to do it at night
Capturing Hooligans and all the other shops around this area.
The famous Courthouse on the Square
That pink building at the corner is the Opera House

A cute photo of this storefront
And an interesting wooden jackalope
Although Downtown Denton is small, it’s charming and a good place to be from time to time, but I wouldn’t visit every day mainly because there’s no parking and it’s hot most days in Texas so you need to walk a lot.
Have you ever been to Dallas before?
